The method behind the game

Children play,
Argo understands them.

While they play, children make decisions spontaneously. Argo learns from those decisions to understand how they live sport and what they need to enjoy it more.

Decisions inside an adventure

Every choice helps us understand how they think, react and get motivated.

A profile that is easy to read

Argo turns those decisions into a clear picture of how they live sport.

Frequently asked questions

ArgoMethod® is a behavioral profiling tool for athletes aged 8 to 16, based on the DISC model. With ArgoOne® the experience is one and has two parts: first the adult answers a short questionnaire about their way of supporting, and then the child plays their experience on the phone. Argo crosses the two styles and delivers two reports: how the child tends to live the activity (games, competitions, practice and free play) and how to connect better with them from your own way of supporting.

The adult's questionnaire takes between 3 and 5 minutes. The child's experience, about 10 minutes on the phone. You do not need to do it all at once or on the same day: your part is saved and the child plays whenever they are comfortable, with the link Argo leaves you.

It is not a secret, and they do not experience it as an exam either. Before starting we tell them, in their own language, that Argo helps them get to know themselves better in sport. Then they play a story where they make decisions: there are no right or wrong answers and no abilities are measured. At the end they receive a short message from the crew, always positive and without labeling them. The detail of the profile stays with the adult.

Yes. Argo does not read the technique of a sport: it reads how the child tends to decide, what motivates them and how they connect with the people around them. That shows up just the same in tennis, swimming, gymnastics or athletics as in a team sport, and off the field too. The report adapts to the sport you enter when you register them.

DISC is a framework of observable behavior, used for decades in the world of work and sport. It describes four tendencies: Driver (oriented to action), Connector (to people), Sustainer (to stability) and Strategist (to analysis). No child is only one: everyone is a blend. That is why Argo names the profile as a primary axis with the lean of the second one, for example "Connector with a Strategist lean", with 12 possible combinations. The pace at which they process and decide is read separately, in the "Their engine" section of the report. Argo adapts this framework to youth sport with language for children and a game experience.
